A private catamaran is one of the easiest ways to get a big group together in Cancun: everyone boards at the same time, there is room to move around, and the Caribbean does the rest. Whether you are planning a team-building day, an incentive trip, a company anniversary or a large family celebration, this guide covers what to decide first and how the day works.
1. Start With the Size of Your Group
Group size decides which boat fits. Our fleet covers everything from small private groups to very large events:
- ⛵ Up to 100 guests: our largest catamaran, the 78 ft Samba 3
- ⛵ Up to 75 guests: the 75 ft Induna
- ⛵ Up to 65 guests: the 82 ft Amazing
- ⛵ Up to 55 guests: the 55 ft Lady Laura and the 60 ft Paloma
- ⛵ Smaller teams: catamarans for 35–50 guests

2. Choose the Format of the Day
With a private charter the boat is only for your group, so the itinerary adapts to your event:

3. Food, Drinks and Branding
On private charters you can bring your own food and premium drinks, or ask our team for options. Many companies also bring banners, branded gear or a playlist for the day — tell us in advance so the crew can help you set it up.
4. Logistics Your Attendees Will Ask About
- 📍 Departure: Marina Playa Tortugas, Hotel Zone, Blvd. Kukulcán km 6.5
- ⏰ Arrival: ask everyone to be at the marina 30 minutes before departure — with large groups, boarding takes longer
- 💵 Dock fee: $20 USD per person, paid at the marina (not included in the charter price)
- 🚐 Hotel transportation: available as an optional extra service from a third party; send us the hotels and number of guests
- 🌦️ Weather: safety comes first; if the Port Authority restricts navigation, the trip is rescheduled according to the applicable policy
5. Book Early
Our largest boats are limited, and weekends and high season fill up first. As soon as you have a date and an approximate headcount, contact our team or request your booking and we will suggest the right catamaran and itinerary for your event.
